Delete your wxdeck account

You can delete your wxdeck account yourself, at any time, from its Account page. It takes effect straight away.

How

To keep a copy first, use Download my data on the same page.

Email privacy@wxdeck.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We answer in the times our Privacy Policy sets out.

Your account: your name, email address, profile picture and Google sign-in.
Your saved places, with their names, powder-alert settings and the record of which alerts we sent you.
The alert subscription of every device you turned alerts on.
Any paid plan. It is ended first, so you are never charged again; a charge still inside the refund window is refunded.

The browser you used is signed out. Another device that is still signed in can no longer reach any of your data.

Forecast records at a saved place. If we have recorded forecasts for one of your places, to score their accuracy, the point's coordinates and those forecasts are kept, with its name and every link to you deleted. Nothing ties them to you.
A record of agreeing to a paid plan, if you bought one: what you agreed to and when, without your account. It is kept as evidence of the purchase.
Server logs are kept up to 30 days, and our database provider keeps a short rolling history for recovery. Both age out on their own.
